Harris, tonight at midnight, our campaign for FL-20 will face our first public fundraising deadline with the Federal Election Commission. After this deadline passes, my team will compile all of our fundraising from our campaign launch through this March 31 end-of-quarter deadline and submit it in a public report. My opponent is the subject of a House Ethics Committee investigation for campaign finance violations and a lawsuit from the state of Florida for $5.8 million in missing taxpayer dollars. If we file a strong fundraising report, it will signify that our campaign has serious momentum and that our movement to replace the corrupt representation in District 20 with a real working class agenda is on the path to victory. I'm a candidate for Congress who sued Ron DeSantis in state court and won. I'm a teacher who has spent years working within Broward County Public Schools. I'm a survivor of childhood poverty and homelessness who today serves as a Board Member of the Downtown Fort Lauderdale Civic Association. I have spent my entire career working to make a better future for the next generation than the childhood I had growing up. Now I'm running for Congress to fight for the working class representation District 20 needs. With Republicans desperate for every House seat, we cannot allow a political and legal corruption scandal to put FL-20 in jeopardy. Harris, can you contribute $5.00 or any amount before our FEC deadline at midnight? If you've saved payment info with ActBlue Express, your donation will process immediately.
If we win here, it will send a message that for every corrupt member of Congress, their days in elected office are numbered. Let's send that message, loud and clear. With gratitude, Elijah |
