Sign the petition: Have Trump and Musk remade Social Security?

TELL CONGRESS: Elon Musk's DOGE took a hatchet to Social Security — leaving many people in a lurch as they try to get benefits. Field offices have shuttered and thousands of workers were fired. Congress has a duty to save Social Security. Sign the petition: Restore and protect Social Security after DOGE damage! ADD YOUR NAME Harris, DOGE's work at the Social Security Administration (SSA) led to mass firings, the closing of field offices across the country, and phony fraud prevention systems.1 Every single one of these changes made it harder for seniors and people with disabilities to get their benefits checks. The damage DOGE has done to Social Security comes as SSA struggles to keep up with a record surge of retirement claims.2 We're hearing less about Musk and DOGE these days, but the lasting damage at the SSA could impact beneficiaries for years to come — unless Congress restores and protects one of the most important social programs in America. Sign the petition: Don't let Trump's plan to destroy Social Security succeed. Ensure SSA is strong and funded! ADD YOUR NAME In Musk and Trump's coordinated campaign to hobble SSA and hurt the people who rely on Social Security benefits, DOGE even wrongfully removed people from Social Security.3 Congress must protect Social Security from further damage. But this is not enough. Millions have had their monthly income threatened and the program that 73 million people rely on is on shaky footing.
