Speaker Mike Johnson and his MAGA majority in the House just rammed through one of the most dangerous power grabs we've seen since January 6th with the No Rogue Rulings Act, a bill specifically designed to prevent federal district judges from issuing nationwide injunctions that can block illegal or unconstitutional executive actions.
This is about dismantling checks and balances so Trump can turn the presidency into a dictatorship. If this passes the Senate, the judiciary will be handcuffed, and Trump's path to authoritarian rule will be wide open.
Don't believe the lies coming out of the House. They claim this bill is about preventing "judicial activism." That's pure propaganda. The truth is, Trump's team is furious that their racist, unconstitutional, and extremist actions keep getting stopped in court, so they want to destroy the courts' power.
The courts are doing their job when they stop Trump from abusing his office. We need the Senate to do its job now by killing the No Rogue Rulings Act in its tracks before it becomes law.
Demand that the Senate stop the No Rogue Rulings Act and preserve judicial checks on executive power. The No Rogue Rulings Act would effectively give Trump a green light to implement whatever radical executive actions he wants, with no federal judge able to stop him. It is a bill made for a dictatorship. Every single senator must understand what's at stake. If they don't vote this down, they are complicit in paving the way for authoritarianism.
What happens next in the Senate will determine whether we still have any functioning limits on Trump's power. The judiciary, especially federal district courts, have been one of the last lines of defense against Trump's illegal policies. We can't allow MAGA Republicans to dismantle that defense.
We've stopped attacks on the courts before. But only when people like you rise up, demand accountability, and flood the Senate with public pressure. That's what it will take to defeat this bill. That's what it will take to keep Trump from putting himself above the law.
Tell the Senate to reject the No Rogue Rulings Act and defend judicial independence.
Together, we'll stand up to Trump's authoritarian agenda.
