| Harris, right now in America, your reality depends on where you live. States with Democratic governors are fighting to maintain or expand access to safe and legal abortion, and protect the right to vote. Meanwhile, many states with Republican governors are trying to criminalize abortion and undermine the integrity of our elections.
That’s not the America I want to live in.
From record-breaking job growth to expanding health care coverage, President Biden has spent each and every day working on behalf of the American people. I can’t say the same about the guy running against him.
We need to elect more leaders like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and like the Democratic governors across the country who are fighting tooth and nail for our freedoms and democracy. And I know we can do it, because we’ve done it before. We can save our democracy and move forward with hope and determination, but it will take all of us working together.
This election could come down to one vote, one supporter, or one $7 contribution. And we can't come up short, because it’s not just the White House on the line, Harris. Control of Congress and 11 gubernatorial elections are also up for grabs this November, and the outcomes of those races could mean the difference between saving our democracy and letting it slip away.
That’s why we can’t afford to slow down now. The race between President Biden and Donald Trump is incredibly close, and Republicans are pouring millions of dollars into the race. In May alone, Trump’s supporters flooded his campaign with $141 million – $70 million of which came in after Trump’s conviction. We need each and every grassroots supporter to step up so we can fight back. |
