This week, in the ultimate act of Constitutional betrayal, our MAGA Supreme Court granted the US President absolute immunity from criminal prosecution for crimes committed as part of his official acts, essentially declaring that the president is now king and above the law.
This ruling morphs the presidency into a monarch-like figure, armored against accountability and beyond the reach of judicial scrutiny.
