I first ran for office because I didn't see anyone sticking up for dirt farmers like me. I'm the only working dirt farmer in the U.S. Senate, and I'm damn proud of it. In the years since, I've demanded that Washington work for the people, fought to get veterans the health care they've earned, and ensured Montanans have someone defending our values in the United States Senate.
