FROM THE TRAIL: CONTINUING TO CHART A "NEW WAY FORWARD" 
Coming off of her decisive debate victory, Vice President Kamala Harris, Governor Tim Walz, Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff, Gwen Walz, and dozens of campaign surrogates criss-crossed the country to share their vision of a New Way Forward with voters in battleground states. The New Way Forward Tour made waves on the air, online, and in print as the Harris-Walz campaign got out into the communities who will decide this election to underscore the stark contrast in this election. Most recently, on National Voter Registration Day, Team Harris-Walz and the Democratic National Committee launched a Youth Vote Week of Action to encourage young voters across the battlegrounds to register to vote. This all-hands-on-deck mobilization will reach young voters where they are -- online and in person, on campuses, and in their communities -- and continue to forge our path to victory.
FROM THE TRAIL: KICKING OFF HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH 
Team Harris-Walz launched historic actions to engage, reach, and mobilize Latino voters as Hispanic Heritage Month kicks off. "Hispanic Heritage Month is an important moment to celebrate the richness and diversity of Latino communities across the country," said Harris-Walz Campaign Manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez. "Building on our historic efforts to break through and earn the support of Latino voters everywhere, this Hispanic Heritage Month will be a key part of our aggressive campaign efforts to make our case to voters about Vice President Harris, who has spent her entire career fighting for Latino families, and as president, will always focus on the issues that our community cares most deeply about." These efforts build on existing programs designed to meet Latinos where they are, like the campaign's first-of-its-kind Latinos con Harris-Walz WhatsApp channel. To reach Latino voters in an increasingly dynamic media environment, these organizing efforts along with our WhatsApp channel target Latino voters with tailored, culturally competent content that reflects the Latino community.
SUPPORTER SPOTLIGHT: BRIAN IN TOKYO, JAPAN 
Brian is a retired US Navy Captain from Gresham, Oregon. He is a registered Republican, but stands by his beliefs: "Come hell or high water I am voting for Harris and Walz." He is especially focused on the Trump campaign's policies against women's reproductive health and Project 2025. After hearing Vice President Harris's speech at the DNC, he was not only reassured, but felt encouraged and hopeful by her message. In his own community, he's determined to get the people around him to understand the importance of this election. He says that, for the first time ever, he is going to vote for every Democrat on every ballot. He supports Team Harris-Walz because he knows that our ticket will usher in a brighter future for all of America.
