Harris,
Have you noticed how Republicans like to run candidates in swing states who aren't… actually from those states?
We, on the other hand, know that real, deeply-rooted leadership in swing states matters, and we're proud to support three pro-choice champions who have proven that they stand for more than just politics.
Rep. Elissa Slotkin in Michigan, Sen. Jacky Rosen in Nevada, and Sen. Tammy Baldwin in Wisconsin are fighting to protect reproductive rights in the Senate — not just for their states, but for the entire country. Swing states will determine control of the Senate in November, and these women are ready to deliver a pro-choice majority.
Can Democratic pro-choice women count on your support in majority-defining Senate races this November, Harris? Donate now:
In Wisconsin, Sen. Tammy Baldwin continues to travel across her home state connecting with her constituents: meeting with rural communities, attending Packers games, and holding roundtables with young leaders. Her opponent in the Senate race, Eric Hovde, is an anti-choice multi-millionaire bank owner from California, and he's trying to buy this seat.
In Michigan, Republican Mike Rogers has gone from criticizing Trump to fully embracing him (and his lies) in effort to get his endorsement. Oh, and he moved to Florida a decade ago. Compare that to Rep. Elissa Slotkin, who has deep roots in Michigan and has been a courageous leader at every stage of her career, from her service in the CIA to her work in Congress. We need principled leaders like her in the Senate.
And in Nevada, Sen. Jacky Rosen's opponent, Sam Brown, has also embraced Trump's MAGA extremism and attacked Sen. Rosen. Brown is an anti-choice extremist. But Sam Brown is a failed U.S. House candidate from Texas – he ran and lost there in 2014 – and Sen. Rosen is a pro-choice champion. Before starting her career, she worked as a cocktail waitress in Las Vegas while attending college, and as a U.S. senator, she has continued to deliver for working-class people like herself across Nevada.
Defeating these extreme, anti-choice Republicans means Elissa, Jacky, and Tammy need to reach as many voters as possible, combat disinformation spread by their opponents, run TV ads, and recruit volunteers.
That's why this week we're raising $150,000 to support EMILYs List-endorsed candidates running in critical swing states. Will you chip into our Swing State Support Fund to help pro-choice women WIN?
