Dear Harris,
Trump's tariffs are going to drive inflation up and up. Some of the impact has already begun, and we can expect it to get worse from here. But there's a deeper systemic problem in our economy that's causing you to get price gouged: Big Ag monopolies.
Is a potato cartel spiking the price of your spuds?
Yes. According to a recent lawsuit, four of the largest potato processors in America – controlling 95% of the frozen potato market – have been running a rotten potato price-fixing scheme. Over the past two years, prices rose by 47% even as input costs for the companies dropped.
That's no small potatoes! And taters aren't the only foods seeing this sort of price gouging.
In this week's video, we'll look at price gouging across the entire U.S. food chain and expose how it's impacting everyone no matter where you shop.
These companies don't worry about losing customers, because customers have so few choices. The result? Corporate monopolies get rich, and we pay the tab.
Before you click through to watch, see if you can guess what other food supplies just a few Big Ag companies control. The list is probably longer than you think.
The only way we'll get to the root of high grocery prices is if we expose it. So check out our latest video now and share it with a friend.
Thank you for always doing your part to get the word out by watching and sharing our videos on your social media.
