Trump’s so-called U.S. Attorney in New Jersey just charged a sitting Democratic congresswoman, Rep. LaMonica McIver, with assault for simply practicing her lawful congressional oversight responsibilities at an ICE facility in her district.
Make no mistake, Harris: This is a blatant political attack by Trump's DOJ to CRIMINALIZE oversight of his shady administration.

FIRST, Trump installed his own incompetent cronies at the Department of Justice to act as his own personal MAGA prosecutors.
THEN, they threatened elected officials and activists who dared to speak out for the rule of law.
AND NOW, they’re charging a sitting Democratic member of Congress and distorting the truth in a shameless attempt to shut down congressional oversight into an out-of-control executive branch.
