Say NO to mass deportation funding

ICE is out of control, breaking laws and violating rights. Now Congress wants to increase its funding by 600%.

Harris, Under President Trump, the actions of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have far exceeded both the public will and Constitutional limits. Right now, the GOP Congress is pushing through a budget that would gut Medicaid, food assistance, housing, and environmental protection -- all while pouring even more money into ICE. This bill proposes a staggering 600% increase in funding for ICE detention centers. Why? So that an unaccountable agency can detain even more people, often without due process, in direct violation of what the American people support -- and what the Constitution allows. Under Donald Trump's acting ICE Director, Todd Lyons, ICE has gone from a law enforcement agency to a political weapon. It's enforcing a radical deportation agenda, conducting cruel raids, separating families again, ignoring court orders -- even those of the Supreme Court -- and deporting lawful residents without hearings or legal counsel. This is not justice. The cruelty is the point. Send a direct message to tell your representatives: Cut ICE's budget and end support for mass deportation. SIGN AND SEND ICE was designed to be led by a Senate-confirmed director to ensure transparency and accountability. But Trump has sidestepped the law by installing one "acting" director after another -- avoiding public hearings and consolidating unchecked power behind closed doors. Now Lyons, never formally nominated or confirmed, is wielding enormous power with zero accountability. And the abuses are escalating. In April, when ICE agents sought to make a deportation arrest outside a judge's courtroom in Milwaukee, the judge was arrested by the FBI in an attempt to intimidate one of the last remaining checks on executive power. This is not about security. It's about control. It's about using taxpayer money to fund a mass deportation machine that violates civil rights, breaks families apart, and undermines the basic constitutional principles of due process, equal protection, and separation of powers. We cannot allow Congress to slash social safety nets in order to bankroll ICE's lawlessness. The American people do not want their tax dollars used to fund indefinite detention, family separation, and unconstitutional raids. Tell your Senators and Representative: Reject this budget. Stop funding ICE's abuses. Block the mass deportation funding.
