Not an exaggeration

Justice Democrats

Justice Democrats is facing our second, critical end-of-quarter fundraising deadline tonight at midnight, and we're behind on reaching our goal.

Will you rush $5 or whatever you can to help us catch up in time?

DONATE

Harris,

It is not an exaggeration when we say that Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans are trying to establish fascist authoritarianism in the United States right now.

The Trump administration is:

  • Trying to repeal our fundamental rights granted in the Constitution, such as birthright citizenship;

  • Terrorizing communities and families with mass deportations carried out by masked, unidentified ICE agents;

  • Pushing a federal budget that will slash nearly $1 TRILLION from Medicaid, Medicare, SNAP, and other safety net programs that working and poor people rely on to survive, while giving more tax breaks to millionaires, billionaires, and corporations.

And time after time, Trump is executing power-grabs the likes of which we've never seen, claiming more executive authority while weakening the other branches of government.

So, who will stop him? Well, with a 6-3 conservative majority (including three justices hand-picked by Trump), we can't count on the Supreme Court. Just this month, they issued rulings to:

  • Let states cut off Medicaid funding to Planned Parenthood, ripping away patients' ability to choose the doctor or provider they want — even for critical non-abortion services that millions rely on Planned Parenthood for;

  • Allow states to ban life-saving, gender-affirming care for transgender youth, while letting Trump keep deporting immigrants to megaprisons in third-party countries;

  • Limit the power of federal judges to issue nationwide injunctions temporarily stopping the Trump administration's unconstitutional policies, such as its attempt to repeal birthright citizenship.

What about Congress? Well, Democratic leadership is asleep at the wheel. Senate Democrats are barely putting up a fight to stop Trump's far-right nominees, often voting for them without pause, while the House Minority Leader said last week that he hadn't even looked at the bipartisan War Powers Resolutions introduced to stop Trump from throwing us into an unconstitutional war on Iran.

They're not going to save us, Harris. We have to save ourselves, and that starts with recruiting and building support for progressive, working-class candidates from our own communities who are willing to challenge the Do-Nothing Democrats in power.

Unlike the establishment that relies on massive checks from corporate lobby groups and dark money super PACs, Justice Democrats depends entirely on donations from grassroots supporters like YOU. We can't win big in the 2026 midterm elections without an influx of small-dollar contributions NOW.

With that in mind and our end-of-quarter FEC deadline rapidly approaching in just a few hours, please pitch in any amount to ensure we reach our goal before it's too late.

Contribute $5

I can't thank you enough for your support.

In solidarity,

Alexandra Rojas
Executive Director
