Harris, Congressional Republicans are working to pass legislation that will permanently slash tax rates for millionaires and billionaires as part of Donald Trump's promise to his donors for a "big, beautiful" tax giveaway.   Here's what the billionaires don't want you to know: their grip on Washington is starting to slip. New polling shows that even Republican voters, by more than 70%, believe the rich should pay higher taxes. Add to that nearly 90% of Democrats, and you have a united public demanding fairness. That's why Wall Street and their lobbyists are scrambling behind closed doors to ram this through before anyone can fight back. The political class knows the tide is turning, but the oligarchs are pulling every string to silence this growing movement. We can finally make the ultra-wealthy pay their fair share after decades of rigging the system in their favor. While billionaires bankroll lobbyists to lock in permanent tax cuts for themselves, working families are left with higher costs, stagnant wages, and crumbling public services.
