After every fundraising deadline, organizations like the Democratic National Committee take a look at the programs they want to fund, compare it to what they've raised, and make some difficult decisions about where they can spend, and where they can't.
That's especially true for the DNC.
They're looking at how to stop Trump from slashing lifesaving programs in order to pass tax cuts for billionaires while at the same time planning to win elections everywhere so we can hold Trump accountable after the next term.
These are immediate priorities.
And oftentimes, they'll green light investments they don't currently have the budget for.
They approve it believing Democrats everywhere who understand the impact of these fights will step up to fund the investments we need to win.
