Donald Trump is demanding a federal investigation into Bruce Springsteen, Beyoncé, Bono, and Taylor Swift… yes, really. Why? Because they used their platforms to support Kamala Harris and criticize his campaign.
Now, Trump wants the Federal Election Commission (FEC) to treat their endorsements like crimes. This is Trumpism at its most dangerous: cynical, paranoid, and authoritarian. He's claiming, without a shred of evidence, that celebrities who supported Kamala Harris were secretly paid off, making their support "illegal contributions."
Let's be absolutely clear, this isn't about campaign finance. It's about control. Trump is trying to weaponize the FEC to punish artists for speaking out, using bogus allegations and baseless claims to launch a full-blown political witch hunt.
He's attacking freedom of expression and dragging the country back to a time when dissenting voices were criminalized. His real goal isn't transparency, it's intimidation. He wants to scare artists into silence and send a chilling message to anyone who might oppose him publicly. We can't let that happen.
