Trump just tore up a binding seven-year union contract with the 50,000 frontline TSA workers who keep bombs, guns, and terrorists off our planes. No warning. No negotiation. No respect for law, labor, or national security.
These workers unionized in 2011 after years of underpaid, high-turnover contractors failed to keep us safe. Unionizing stabilized the workforce, improved screening, and raised security standards across the country. In 2023, they fought tooth and nail for a modest 30% raise that was decades overdue.
Now Trump wants to tear it all down because union-busting is step one in the MAGA movement's bigger goal: privatize the TSA, slash labor costs, and hand airport security over to the lowest corporate bidder.
Project 2025 lays it out in black and white. End the union. Break the workforce. Gut pay. Slow down security lines and blame it all on the public sector. That means long lines, fewer agents, and wide-open vulnerabilities.
TSA workers are raising the alarm. The union is fighting back. But they can't stop this alone. Tell Congress to stand up for TSA workers and stop this dangerous union-busting.
Trump and his cronies want chaos. He wants to break federal workers so badly that they'll quit, or get fired, or be replaced by private contractors who answer to shareholders, not the public.
They want a government so broken that they can sell it for parts, and this is a test case for what MAGA Republicans want to do across the entire federal workforce.
Trump's second term is more extreme, more targeted, and more dangerous. And it starts with stunts like this, where he breaks contracts, guts security, and calls it "efficiency." If Congress lets this stand, the door swings wide open for privatization, corruption, and another catastrophe.
Airport security is not a political game. And no president, especially one impeached twice and indicted four times, gets to unilaterally dismantle the safety net that protects 2 million travelers a day.
Tell Congress to defend TSA workers and protect national security.
Let's stop Trump's attack on airport security.
