My personal request for Harris

Hey Harris, Tim Walz here – Governor of Minnesota and Chair of the Democratic Governors Association. The digital team has told me you are a top grassroots supporter, so before I continue, I want to invite you to my exclusive Chair’s Priorities Survey for the most in-the-know folks. Responses to this survey are of the utmost importance as they will inform our strategy for key governors’ races this year like North Carolina and New Hampshire. Govs. Whitmer, Hobbs, Newsom, Evers, Moore, Healey, Hochul, Shapiro, Cooper, Kotek, myself and others continue to work every day to safeguard reproductive rights within our respective states including vetoing anti-abortion bills. Govs. Healey, Lujan Grisham, Mills, Newsom, Shapiro, Whitmer, Polis, myself, and others have all expanded FREE, universal school meal programs. Harris, Democratic governors are the difference between your rights being protected and expanded and your rights being taken away. That’s why I am working hard as DGA Chair to elect more of us. But – and I am going to give it to you straight – Republicans are more motivated than ever to retake power and drag us backward. They are doubling down on their efforts to take away reproductive rights, ban books from schools, and restrict access to the ballot box. Which is exactly why I need your help, Harris. This is the most consequential election of our lives, and we can’t leave anything to chance. From Donald Trump trying to take back the White House to weird, dangerous Republicans attempting to flip battleground North Carolina red and keep toss-up New Hampshire in GOP hands - we need all hands on deck.
