This is why I’m running

I’ve always worked to help the people of North Carolina build a better and brighter future. As Attorney General of North Carolina, I fight for safer communities, stronger schools, healthier families, and personal freedom, and with you by my side, that is what I’ll do as Governor. Mark Robinson has voiced his disdain for public educators, calling them “wicked people”, called school shooting victims, “spoiled, angry, know-it-all CHILDREN,” LGBTQ+ folks “filth,” and boasted that he has “AR-15s in case the government gets too big for its britches.” He has said time and time again that he wants a total ban on abortion with no exceptions for the life of the mother or in instances of rape or incest. Harris, allow me to make this crystal clear: despite Robinson’s far-right extremism, make no mistake, HE COULD WIN. It’s going to take us all coming together to turn the tide of this toss-up race.
