Since June 24, 2022, reproductive freedom has been under attack from the far-right – and it’s been on the ballot. Now Republicans across the country are showing us it’s on the ballot again in 2024. Last year, we delivered on that promise and made Minnesota the first state in the country to codify abortion rights into law since the devastating Dobbs decision. As long as I’m governor, Minnesota will continue to be a beacon of reproductive freedom. I will fight to ensure Minnesotans are able to get the care they need no matter what, and I will continue to deliver on my promise to protect your rights – not take them away. But this is something that every American – regardless of their state – deserves to have protections over. Republicans may want you to think they’ll stop at overturning Roe, but their actions say otherwise. Make no mistake, Harris: Abortion rights, IVF, and even contraception are on the ballot this November, and we can’t stop fighting for them. Fortunately, Democratic governors like myself are delivering on protecting and expanding reproductive rights everywhere we can. But we can’t do it alone.
