My first FEC deadline of the campaign is tomorrow at midnight, Harris — can you donate? My opponent is the subject of a congressional House Ethics Committee investigation for campaign finance violations. The state of Florida is suing to get back $5.8 million overpaid to the company she led the year her CEO's salary grew to $6 million and she self-funded her $4 million campaign for Congress. Some members of Congress are seizing this moment to rally the American people against the Trump-Musk agenda. Our representative is barring the media from her town halls to prevent them from asking questions about her scandal. By hiding from the media, our member of Congress is robbing the people of District 20 of our voice in the fight against the billionaire takeover of our government. Our working class district deserves a working class champion in Congress — not one who is going to silence us because they are more focused on fighting their own political and legal battles than on fighting for us. Harris, I've stood up for Floridians no matter the political consequences. I was the lead plaintiff to sue Governor Ron DeSantis in state court. When he set the record for the longest delay in calling special elections in Florida history in his attempt to diminish Black Floridians' representation in the Legislature, I used my voice to fight back. I knew that a win was not guaranteed going up against a powerful Republican Governor preparing to run for president in a GOP-dominated state. But we did win. And that taught me a powerful lesson: We always need to be willing to fight. No matter the odds. If you've saved payment info with ActBlue Express, your donation will process immediately.
