Before he was removed by the Sergeant at Arms during Trump's dystopian speech to Congress, Democratic Rep. Al Green boldly shouted out that Trump does NOT have a mandate to cut Medicaid.
No mandate, period. Not only did voter suppression tactics stop millions of likely Democrats from voting, Trump's margin of victory was just over 1 point, far less than Biden's and Obama's. He didn't even win the majority of votes.
Trump, Musk, and MAGA aim to gut programs that millions of Americans approve of and rely on to live all in the name of giving the ultra-wealthy ANOTHER tax cut.
There's no mandate to enact their nightmarish vision for America.
