Bunny – Our annual Bill of Rights Gala is set for Thursday, October 16, in Boston, and if you haven't secured your ticket already, we have another good reason to save that date! We're excited to announce that this year's keynote speaker will be Sherrilyn Ifill, a hero of the contemporary legal struggle for civil rights and civil liberties!
Sherrilyn Ifill is a civil rights lawyer and scholar. From 2013-2022, she served as the president and director-counsel of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. She is currently the Vernon Jordan Distinguished Professor in Civil Rights at Howard Law School, where later this year she will launch the 14th Amendment Center for Law & Democracy. At this year's Bill of Rights Gala, we're celebrating volunteers, partners, cooperating attorneys, and allies who all play key roles in the collective struggle for civil rights and civil liberties – and that includes ACLU supporters like you! So, we hope you'll join us in for this year's Bill of Rights Gala in Boston on Thursday, October 16! Looking forward, ACLU of Massachusetts |
