Dr. Raul Ruiz For Congress

Harris, it's Raul.

Because of you, we closed out May strong — hitting our end-of-month goal and sending a clear message: this team shows up, and we don't back down when it matters most.

Before I stepped onto the House floor, I stepped into exam rooms. I became a doctor to help people — to be there when they needed someone in their corner. Running for Congress wasn't a detour from that mission. It was a continuation of it.

So when House Republicans passed a budget bill last month that would gut health coverage for 8.6 million people, this fight became more personal than ever.

I've seen what happens when families are left without care, when costs stand between someone and the treatment they need. I didn't go into medicine to watch people be abandoned, and I didn't come to Congress to stand by while it happens.

Thanks to you, we're building the kind of campaign that can hold this seat — and keep fighting for the health, dignity, and future every one of our communities deserves.

We've got a long road ahead, but this is the kind of early progress that keeps us on track. I'm grateful to have you with me.

— Raul

P.S. As we head into a new month, any dollar you can spare goes a long way toward protecting CA-25 — and flipping the House blue in 2026.

The son of hardworking farmworkers, Dr. Ruiz grew up in Coachella, CA and learned at an early age that the key to attaining the American Dream is hard work and a great education. In the summer of 1990, Raul walked in the desert heat from business to business in the Coachella Valley asking them to invest in their community by contributing to his education. With each investment for college, he made a promise to come back home and serve his community as a physician. In 2012, he decided to take his service to the community to the next level by running for Congress. Dr. Ruiz needs our help to continue fighting for us in Congress.
