Harris,
Amazon workers are organizing -- and they're not backing down.
The Amazon Labor Union (ALU), IBT Local 1, is leading a bold campaign to confront one of the most powerful companies on Earth. And they're doing it the only way that works: by organizing together.
Since Amazon warehouse workers in Staten Island made history by voting to unionize in 2022, the company has refused to come to the table. Amazon has stonewalled, stalled, and denied its workers the basic dignity of negotiations -- even as warehouse injuries continue to mount at a staggering pace.
This isn't a bug in Amazon's system -- it's their business model. A U.S. Senate investigation confirmed that Amazon's injury rate is more than 30% higher than the industry average. This is a direct result of the Amazon corporate culture, a system that values speed, surveillance, and shareholder profits over worker safety and human life.
Amazon made a record $36 billion in profits last year, and its founder is the second-richest person in the world. But the workers who keep the company running are treated as disposable. It's not a lack of money. It's a lack of respect.
And workers have had enough.
The Amazon Labor Union -- IBT Local 1 is organizing to change that, demanding Amazon recognize a Safety Bill of Rights: a set of five basic, non-negotiable protections written by warehouse workers themselves.
Let's send a clear message: Workers built Amazon. Workers run Amazon. Workers deserve to be safe at Amazon. Tell Amazon to recognize the Safety Bill of Rights now.
These rights aren't radical. They are the bare minimum every worker deserves:
Safe staffing levels. Humane accommodations. Safe equipment and workspaces. Safe temperatures and clean air. Safe pace of work and real breaks.
Amazon refuses to meet even these basic standards. But workers are ready to escalate: through strikes, walkouts, legal action, and political pressure. Because when workers stand together, they win -- not just promises, but real change.
This fight is about more than one warehouse. It's about holding a $2 trillion corporation accountable -- and showing that working people can take on even the biggest giants.
That's why Amazon workers are calling on us, along with labor allies, community groups, and elected officials, to join them in demanding dignity, safety, and a seat at the table.
Add your name to send a clear message of support for the Amazon Labor Union and the Safety Bill of Rights now.
Thank you for standing with the people on the frontlines of this historic labor movement!
