This is a PR stunt

Justice Democrats

Harris, Israel blocked all aid and food from entering Gaza starting March 2nd. As of yesterday, Israel will reportedly allow "minimal" aid which is far, far from sufficient.

This is a war crime, Harris:

Tweet from Kenneth Roth @KenRoth. Text reads "The UN humanitarian chief warns that 14,000 Palestinian babies could die in Gaza within the next 48 hours without aid. The pittance that Israel just allowed won't be enough."

Yesterday, Israel let 5 aid trucks into Gaza. Before October 2023, Gaza received an average of 500 aid trucks per day.

Now, 14,000 babies are at risk of dying without proper aid. Israel allowing in 5 aid trucks is a PR stunt.

Israel's far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich even admitted as much, stating aid is only being allowed in "so the world does not stop us and accuse us of war crimes…It allows the world to continue providing us with international protection."

He even bragged how little the world has done to stop these atrocities: "We are dismantling Gaza, leaving it in ruins with unprecedented destruction, and the world still hasn't stopped us."

Israel has weaponized mass starvation in its brutal, genocidal campaign against the Palestinian people. The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant last November over their use of starvation throughout the conflict.

Members of Congress cannot sit idly by and look away from this atrocity. We need to demand their attention and call on them to take action.

Lives are on the line in Gaza. Add your name to our petition urging Congress to demand that Israel immediately allow enough humanitarian aid to reach Palestinian families who are starving and in desperate need of aid.

Sign on

In solidarity,

Justice Democrats
