Tell the House to pass the bipartisan Protect America’s Workforce Act and defend federal workers’ rights

Congress can restore federal workers' collective bargaining rights -- but only if House leadership brings the bill to the floor

Harris, Federal workers must win back their right to collective bargaining, before it's too late. Not only is Trump's executive order gutting federal workers' collective bargaining rights an attack on unions: it's an assault on the very people who keep our country functioning. The House must act now to help federal employees reclaim what's rightfully theirs: the power to advocate for their jobs, their safety, and the future of the public services they provide. Trump's executive order stripped workers at over 30 federal agencies of union representation, including employees at the VA, CDC, FDA, and the Office of Refugee Resettlement. These agencies are under attack, and they touch the lives of millions of Americans. Without collective bargaining, the workers who keep them running are left with no protection from Trump's slash-and-burn political purges. Over 120,000 government workers have already been fired under the Trump administration, according to CNN. Now, those who remain are being silenced. Without the ability to organize, they have no recourse. If federal workers are going to preserve their job security and safeguard the institutions they serve, they must take back their right to collective bargaining now. Fortunately, Congress has a bipartisan solution: the Protect America's Workforce Act would reverse Trump's executive order and restore vital union protections for federal employees. But there's a critical obstacle: House leadership hasn't brought the bill to a vote. Send a direct message to your Representative and demand that House Speaker Mike Johnson immediately bring the Protect America's Workforce Act to the floor. SIGN AND SEND Every day of delay leaves federal workers more exposed to political interference, jeopardizing the health, safety, and stability of our nation. The food we eat, the air we breathe, the well being of our veterans and the nation's children all depend on our federal workforce. These workers can't strike. They can't negotiate for better pay or benefits. All they're asking for is the right to have a voice on the job -- to raise concerns, protect their colleagues, and keep doing the essential work that supports all Americans. It's time to stop the erosion of workers' rights. It's time for Congress to act. Federal workers must take back their voice, and we must stand with them.
