Hey Harris – it’s Phil Murphy, Governor of New Jersey and Chair of the Democratic Governors Association. First things first, I want to thank each and every one of you for helping Gov. Andy Beshear secure victory in Kentucky. The hard work of this grassroots team helped ensure Andy will be able to continue making progress for Kentucky families. But the work toward Democratic progress doesn’t stop here, Harris. Winning in states like Kentucky requires careful strategy – informed by dedicated supporters like you. So I’m asking now: will you take part in the DGA’s official Democratic Focus Group before midnight tonight? Your responses are critical to fine-tuning our strategy for 2024 and beyond. And right now, there’s a broad lane available for Democratic governors to reclaim the mantle of core American values — freedom, patriotism, rights. Because the truth is that our best days aren’t behind us. They are before us, along this new path we are blazing. But to ensure our democracy is protected, the DGA and myself need help from our most reliable supporters. Folks who have proven to be highly engaged, up-to-date on the latest news, and passionate about the issues we’re facing. And that includes you, Harris.
