Hi Harris, it’s Dr. Mary Trump, niece of Donald J. Trump, with an urgent warning for Democrats. My uncle and his loyal cronies are the biggest threat to our democracy in my lifetime. We cannot afford to have extremists like them in power. That’s why I’ve personally put together this petition, and I’m asking you specifically to sign on. Harris, will you add your name now to the list of Democrats DEMANDING that Donald finally be held accountable for his actions? We need 13,711 more signatures before midnight tonight. ADD MY NAME Make no mistake: our democracy is under threat. Donald faces 91 felony counts, including charges for attempting a coup against his own country. He ran and won on the most extreme far-right platform of any presidential candidate in modern history in 2016 and used his presidency to put dangerous policies into place. But do you know what makes me sick to my stomach? He’s not only still somehow allowed to run for president in 2024 – he’s also outperforming every other GOP presidential primary candidate in the field right now. And that’s not the only way Donald’s hateful legacy lives on. His blueprint for extremist Republican power has spread like wildfire: encouraging anti-democratic rhetoric and practices. Paving the way for draconian abortion bans, preventing millions of people from receiving health care, and attacking the fundamental right to vote across the country. We must stop him and his MAGA acolytes. How? By taking action to support Democrats, especially Democratic governors who are expanding voting rights, protecting civil rights, enshrining LGBTQ+ rights, fighting climate change – protecting our very Democracy.
