| FIRST: More than a year ago, the right-wing Supreme Court majority overturned Roe v. Wade, undoing almost 50 years of precedent and jeopardizing reproductive rights for millions across the nation. |
| THEN: Republicans turned to the states as their target battleground. GOP governors continued to appoint state judges to create conservative-majority courts who approve abortion bans when cases come to their desk. |
| BUT: Despite the Republican assault on reproductive freedom, national support for abortion rights remains at an all-time high. 85% of Americans believe abortion should be legal. Which is why Democratic governors across the country are appointing state judges who are the last line of defense. |
