Here’s the truth about November.

Extremists are running across the country, up and down the ballot, and they’re dead set on implementing their agenda that would erode our fundamental rights and make our democracy unrecognizable – and this would start at the top with Donald Trump if he manages to defeat President Biden. BEGIN HERE As Governor of Illinois, I’ve worked closely with the Biden administration, and I’ve seen firsthand how Joe and Kamala have partnered with leaders at every level of government to support working families and build a better America. I’m proud of the progress we’ve made together, but the reality is this, Harris: MAGA Republicans, led by Donald Trump, want to destroy that progress. → While President Biden has signed executive orders to protect access to reproductive health care services and contraception – and Dem govs have signed legislation codifying abortion rights into state law – Donald Trump has bragged about overturning Roe v. Wade and is ready to sign a national abortion ban if elected. → While Joe has created more than 15 million jobs since taking office and refuses to cut Social Security, Trump wants to gut protections for seniors while offering tax breaks to his ultra-rich supporters. House Republicans’ latest budget plan would raise the retirement age and eliminate benefits for middle-class families. → And while Democratic governors are banning hunger in our schools, and President Biden delivers on his goal to end hunger by 2030, Republican governors like Ron DeSantis are banning books, taking away food support, and demonizing children in their states. Last June, I was proud to sign legislation preventing libraries from banning or restricting access to books – the first-in-the-nation ban on book bans. It’s clear: President Biden is prioritizing the kitchen table issues that actually matter to people, and Democratic governors like myself are standing beside him. But we need your help, Harris. Your input helps us protect our Democratic firewall, respond to the GOP’s relentless attacks, strengthen the infrastructure we’ll need to win, and most importantly, reelect President Biden and elect Democratic governors across the country.
