Harris,
While the Democratic Party and our progressive movement have faced some tough losses in the past year, Justice Democrats is on the frontlines working to change that by recruiting working-class candidates people want and deserve in Congress.
In a recent article talking about the progressive movement's struggles, The Hill referred to us as "the most active group in the left-wing recruitment space" and highlighted the work we're doing to recruit candidates who will help refocus the Party back on the working class.
As our Communications Director Usamah Andrabi told The Hill, when we talk to communities across the country, it's the corporate-backed career politicians we hear the most complaints about. People are sick and tired of Democratic leaders who prioritize ultra-wealthy and corporate donors over the interests of everyday people, so we're busy working to replace them.
In just the last month, we have received hundreds of nominations for congressional districts across the country.
There's an overwhelming appetite to elect more leaders focused on economic populism and mobility for Americans — we just need to build the resources and infrastructure necessary now to help them win come 2026.
With a groundswell of grassroots support from across the country, our progressive movement can and will come back stronger — but we can't do it without you.
In solidarity,
Justice Democrats
