Here's what to know on our latest lawsuit: The Trump administration is using Guantánamo to violate immigrants' due process rights, cut them off from the outside world, and avoid accountability or oversight. This is cruel and a blatant violation of people's rights – so we're suing the Trump administration and calling on the courts to block any further transfers of immigrants. Cruelty to migrants cannot be a policy solution. Yet just a month into his second term, Donald Trump has demonstrated a commitment to worsening the already notorious, vile legacy of human rights abuses at Guantánamo Bay. With your support, we're already at court fighting to ensure that every person detained at Guantánamo Bay can exercise their constitutionally guaranteed right to legal services.
