TELL CONGRESS: Trump and Musk are doing serious damage to Social Security, which millions of beneficiaries rely on. The administration has threatened to shut down SSA and impose reckless new policies. Sign the petition: Don't let Trump-Musk destroy the Social Security Administration. Last week, the acting head of the Social Security Administration (SSA) even threatened to completely shutter the agency — putting the benefits millions rely on in serious jeopardy.1 Now, a reckless new so-called "anti-fraud" policy that could deny benefits to people could come into effect in a few weeks.2 Trump's government has gone after SSA with a complete disregard for the income that seniors and people with disabilities need to live. Destroying the government is the priority, no matter what happens to the American people. Trump's billionaire Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick even suggested seniors wouldn't complain if they didn't receive their monthly check.3 Congress must take a stand and protect people receiving Social Security from the reckless actions of this billionaire-dominated administration.
