100 billionaires spent $2.6 billion to own your vote

Our democracy is being auctioned off, and billionaires are the only ones allowed to bid.

Harris, A hundred billionaire families spent $2.6 billion to buy the 2024 elections. That's not democracy, that's a hostile takeover. While most Americans were worrying about groceries, rent, and medical bills, billionaires were funneling oceans of cash through Super PACs and dark money front groups, rigging the game before you even stepped in the voting booth. Take Elon Musk, he dumped nearly $300 million into Trump's campaign and is now using his influence to weaken federal regulators that stand in the way of his profits. It's not just campaign donations, it's control over public policy. It's billionaires writing the rules for the rest of us. We need real reform. That means taxing billionaires on all their income, including the wealth they accumulate while dodging taxes. That means overturning Citizens United, reinstating strong campaign finance laws, and banning dark money from poisoning our elections. The only way we save our democracy is by kicking billionaire money out of it before it's too late. Tell Congress to get billionaire money out of politics. When money equals speech, the richest 0.01% get to do all the talking and the rest of us get silenced. If we don't act now, future elections won't be decided by voters, but by a handful of mega-donors with enough money to buy candidates, parties, and policy. It's time to take back what Citizens United stole. Congress can no longer ignore the stench of corruption choking our democracy. The solution is clear: We need a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United, end dark money, and restore a system where every voice, not just every dollar, counts. And we need to go after the root of the problem. Billionaires like Musk, Bezos, and the Kochs have amassed obscene fortunes by avoiding taxes, then turned around and used that wealth to hijack our politics. That's why we must tax wealth gains and income, close loopholes, and stop billionaires from using the Treasury as a campaign fund. Demand Congress get billionaire money out of our democracy.
