Democratic voters are sick of the same old sh*t.

50 percent of polled Democratic voters say they want the Party to "become more progressive."

Harris,

A new poll backs up what we already knew: Democratic voters want a more progressive party.

RealClear Polling: Polls Find Democrats Want a More Progressive Party

In this poll conducted by SurveyUSA from April 2-6 among Democrats:

  • 50% said they want the party to "become more progressive"
  • 24% said "stay the same"
  • 18% said "become more moderate"

The message is clear—yet too many Democratic leaders keep chasing the center, running Republican-lite campaigns that don't reflect the values of the people who put them in office.

Everyday, working-class people want a Party that fights for their values and for bold solutions to the crises we're facing, from Trump's authoritarianism and oligarchy to the high costs of living and lack of universal healthcare or education.

Justice Democrats has been fighting for a more progressive Democratic Party since 2018, and we're recruiting working-class candidates to run primary campaigns against Republicans and corporate backed Democrats in the 2026 midterms.
