Harris,
The Trump administration admitted they made an "administrative error" when they kidnapped and deported Kilmar Abrego Garcia — a Salvadoran immigrant and father from Maryland with a court order protecting him from deportation — to El Salvador's notorious mega-prison with more than 200 other immigrants who were not given due process.
Then, the U.S. Supreme Court UNANIMOUSLY ruled that Trump must facilitate Kilmar's return to the United States. Even right-wing extremists Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito couldn't defend this.
Yesterday, Trump and El Salvador's dictator met in the Oval Office where both claimed they couldn't do anything to free Kilmar and bring him home — while Trump doubled down on his desire to send U.S. citizens to the same foreign mega-prison.
We have a White House allowing foreign leaders to refuse to abide by Supreme Court rulings live from the Oval Office, while the President himself is soft-launching deporting U.S. citizens to be tortured in El Salvador.
Democrats must fight back with every tool they have — not just on MSNBC — and the Republican Party that enables this blatant fascism should not survive to see another cycle.
In solidarity,
Justice Democrats
