Harris,
The right to vote is sacred. But right now, extremist politicians are working to dismantle it piece by piece, and the SAVE Act is their latest weapon. It's already passed the House. Now it's headed to the Senate, and if we don't raise hell right now, it could become law.
The SAVE Act is a voter suppression bill in disguise, designed to confuse, discourage, and disqualify eligible voters. They're targeting naturalized citizens, seniors, rural voters, college students, and even women who've changed their last name.
If this bill becomes law, millions could be booted from the rolls without warning.
Under the SAVE Act, simply moving or updating your name could mean being forced to present a passport or birth certificate in person, or risk being unregistered. Election offices would be overwhelmed, lines would grow longer, and chaos would follow. But make no mistake: that's the point. When fewer people vote, extremists win.
The Senate must push back against this shameful legislation. And we need to flood them with opposition before it's too late. Demand the Senate REJECT the anti-voter SAVE Act.
Voter suppression isn't new, but the SAVE Act is one of the most dangerous federal efforts to gut voting rights in decades. It's built on lies about "noncitizen voting," but the real goal is crystal clear: keep as many people away from the ballot box as possible.
This is how democracy dies, under the pretense of "election integrity" and manufactured fear. We've seen this movie before.
We don't need more red tape, more hurdles, or more fear. We need to expand access to voting, not restrict it.
But the extremists in Congress know they can't win on their ideas, so they're rigging the rules instead. And unless we stop them, the damage could be permanent.
Help defend our democracy. Tell the Senate: Stop the SAVE Act and protect our freedom to vote.
Let's fight back against this calculated attack on our democracy.
