Please find an important update below from the directors of the ACLU's Voting Rights and Reproductive Rights Projects. And if you're able, make a 3x-matched donation towards our $750,000 year-end goal to fuel our work to defend all our rights in 2025. |
Hi Bunny, it's Sophia Lin Lakin, director of the ACLU's Voting Rights Project, and Jennifer Dalven, director of the ACLU's Reproductive Freedom Project. With the new year right around the corner, we're reaching out to share an update on our current work, as well as our plans to protect our most fundamental rights during Trump's next term. We won't sugarcoat it, Bunny: The next four years will be challenging. We at the ACLU will always show up to fight attempts to curtail civil rights, but this work requires a great deal of resources. In case you haven't taken advantage of our year-end 3x-match opportunity, we wanted to share what ongoing support like yours has already achieved for our work:
Bunny, none of this would be possible without your support. We rely on the ongoing support of individuals like you to fuel our work – but we know that in 2025, we'll see a growing number of threats on our most fundamental freedoms, from voting rights to reproductive rights, and LGBTQ rights to free speech. That's why we're asking for your help today. With just one more day of our 3x-match, we're still short of our year-end goal. With so much at stake, we cannot afford to fall behind. Will you give now towards our $750,000 goal? Every dollar you are able to give will go three times as far towards defending our rights in 2025 and beyond. Thank you for joining us in defending all our civil liberties, Sophia Lin Lakin Jennifer Dalven | |
