The Constitution, reinforced by Supreme Court precedent, clearly protects trans people from discrimination – yet President Trump's order flies in the face of this, mandating illegal discrimination and attempting to force trans people out of public life. His follow-up orders go even further – restricting trans people's ability to get passports that accurately reflect their gender, banning trans people from the military, and attacking gender-affirming care for trans youth. Donald Trump's executive order attempts to put the full force of the federal government behind his mission to discriminate.
