Harris,
Let's stop sugarcoating it, Elon Musk is engaging in outright election bribery. At a recent rally in Wisconsin for far-right Supreme Court candidate Brad Schimel, Musk handed out two $1 million checks to individuals who signed a petition attacking so-called "activist judges."
We already know the scale of his operation: Musk's PACs have poured more than $20 million into Wisconsin's Supreme Court race, making it the most expensive judicial election in U.S. history.
Why Wisconsin? Because state supreme courts are where billionaires like Musk can hijack the system, from abortion and voting rights to labor protections and redistricting. This is about locking in an ideology and protecting corporate power through the courts.
The FEC must act, not with a slap on the wrist, but with a full-scale investigation and legal accountability. If they don't, they are rubber-stamping a new blueprint for how the ultra-rich can bypass democracy altogether.
This is election bribery in the open. If we let it stand, we let democracy die. Add your name now and demand that the FEC investigate Elon Musk's election bribery.
Musk and his enablers want us to believe this is protected under the First Amendment. When you use your billions to buy political behavior, that's not free speech, it's corruption. It's a threat to every democratic institution we have.
Let's be clear about the stakes: if billionaires are allowed to write million-dollar checks for political compliance, then civic engagement isn't free, it's for sale. That's not a slippery slope. That's a cliff, and we are inches from the edge.
Musk's investment in judicial control is part of a broader strategy to erode democratic checks and balances. The playbook is simple: flood the zone with dark money, install sympathetic judges, and rig the rules for years to come.
We must draw the line here. Not next week. Not after more headlines. Right now. Tell the FEC to investigate Elon Musk's election bribery.
Let's make this a national outcry they can't ignore.
