The Cook Political Report just released its FIRST House ratings summary for 2026, and I wanted to make sure you know how our endorsed women are faring so far this cycle.
The data is clear, Harris, and it shows that we have to defend our pro-choice incumbents AND support women running to flip Republican-held seats. Can you chip in today to help elect our 2026 U.S. House candidates?
So here's the deal: Democratic pro-choice women are running to defend their seats in key races rated TOSS-UP by Cook, including:
- Laura Gillen (NY-04)
- Emilia Sykes (OH-13)
- Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA-03)
These pro-choice champions are fighting to protect their seats from MAGA Republicans and billionaire-funded attacks. We know that the GOP sees these races as a key part of their strategy to grow their extremely slim U.S. House majority.
But we also have an opportunity to FLIP seats and take back that majority. So far, EIGHT Republican-held seats are rated as toss-ups, including:
- David Schweikert (AZ-01)
- Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06)
- Gabe Evans (CO-08)
- Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-01)
- Tom Barrett (MI-07)
- Don Bacon (NE-02)
- Ryan Mackenzie (PA-07)
- Scott Perry (PA-10)
The Republicans who currently hold each one of these seats are ALL on our official 2026 "On Notice" List, which means we're taking action to beat them — by recruiting candidates, conducting messaging research, and beginning to organize voters and volunteers for these races.
