ICE has no business in your tax records

The IRS is handing over taxpayer data to ICE.

Harris, The Trump administration is using IRS data to track down and deport immigrants, without warrants, due process, or even criminal charges. This is a direct violation of privacy, a backdoor abuse of power, and a dangerous step toward a surveillance, totalitarian state. And it turns the IRS into a weaponized arm of an anti-immigrant agenda. It breaks the promise that your private tax information is, and always will be, confidential. Everyone, including immigrants, has the right to file taxes without fear of retaliation, surveillance, and deportation. Congress has the power to stop this. They can pass legislation that blocks federal agencies like ICE from accessing tax data without a court order. When the government starts using financial information to target people, no one is safe. We must demand real legislative safeguards. Tell Congress to ban ICE from accessing IRS data. SIGN AND SEND Every year, millions of undocumented immigrants file taxes. They contribute billions to our economy. And for that, they are now getting targeted, stalked, and detained by ICE, using the data they gave in good faith. This is state-sponsored betrayal. And if Congress doesn't step in, it won't stop here. Today it's ICE. Tomorrow it could be any federal agency combing through tax returns to build political hit lists. We've seen what happens when unchecked surveillance mixes with xenophobia and we can't let it happen again. We must demand legislation that protects all taxpayers, regardless of immigration status, from this kind of abuse. We need strict legal limits on how the IRS handles data, strong oversight, and clear barriers between tax records and law enforcement. No more loopholes. No more silence. Congress must stop the IRS from sharing taxpayer info with ICE.
