When we look at how our economy's doing after Trump's tariff announcement, it's clear that Trump and his advisers either don't understand economics, or they do, and are wrecking our economy anyway.
Katie is a commercial law professor who's done extensive research on how to make our economy actually work for working people. She was one of the first people to sound the alarm on the dangerous bank practices that led to the 2008 financial crisis.
Democrats need skilled economic messengers who can talk with voters in a compelling way about economic issues. And when we win, we need elected officials who will govern by delivering on the right priorities to make life easier for working families.
