Harris,

While climate change-fueled wildfires are ravaging Los Angeles, and communities across the U.S. continue struggling to pay for food, healthcare, and more, our leaders in Congress are choosing to prioritize genocide.

On Friday, Congress voted overwhelmingly to sanction the International Criminal Court (ICC) and anyone associated with their efforts to investigate, arrest, detain, or prosecute any "protected person" of the US and its allies (like Israel).

45 Democrats joined Republicans in supporting this bill, including Reps. Wesley Bell and George Latimer who replaced Cori Bush and Jamaal Bowman with AIPAC's help in the 2024 election. Every Justice Democrat voted against it.

As Justice Democrats' Rep. Rashida Tlaib pointed out, there are countless issues affecting working people that need to be urgently addressed in our country, but Republicans and the Democratic establishment would rather protect Benjamin Netanyahu's administration from being held accountable for its war crimes against Palestinians.

Tweet from Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib: What's their top priority the first week of the new Congress? Lowering costs? Addressing the housing crisis? No, it's sanctioning the International Criminal Court to protect genocidal maniac Netanyahu so he can continue the genocide in Gaza.

This is exactly why we need to send more progressive, working-class leaders to fight for us in Congress and start prioritizing peace, economic justice, climate action, and more.
