Bunny – In only 53 days, the Trump administration has signed nearly 90 executive orders attempting to gut our education system over DEI programs, eliminate birthright citizenship, force trans people out of public life, give DOGE unrestricted access to our most personal financial and medical information, and so much more. Within two hours of Trump's first executive order being signed, we sued to stop him. And over the past 53 days, our legal team has taken action and sued the Trump administration 19 times (and counting!) to protect and defend the rights of every person. We've hosted Know Your Rights trainings across the country to ensure our communities understand their rights when interacting with ICE. And our community has shown up in force with us – over 200,000 supporters have called on their Congress members to stop Trump's abuse of power and end dangerous programs like DOGE that violate our rights. But we know that the attacks on our civil rights will keep coming. The ACLU will keep meeting Donald Trump and his egregious policies in state houses, in the streets, and in court – suing, organizing, and winning to protect our rights – and we need you with us.
That's why today, we're asking you to join us on the front lines of the fight for our civil rights by making a monthly gift and becoming a Guardian of Liberty – our dedicated community of hundreds of thousands of supporters. Your ongoing support allows us to keep taking on critical legal cases, organize within communities, and ensure we have resources for the work to come at this critical time. We're so grateful to have you on our team. Thank you, The ACLU Team The first monthly pledge you make by March 16 will be matched up to $75,000. | |||
