This race determined control of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, which is expected to decide soon on a total abortion ban. The stakes couldn't have been any higher and Musk did everything he could to sway the court his way. Voters rejected him. In Florida, Democrats historically over-performed — with Gay Valimont claiming the best performance from a Democrat in Florida's 1st District this century, and Josh Weil massively over-performing in a Trump +30 district. These races proved what we've seen over and over again this year: people are already fed up with Trump's chaos agenda and they're voting for a change. That's why Democrats have won or over-performed in nearly every special election race this year, including this week's. Supporters like you have helped us channel the energy we're seeing on the ground. The DNC invested in both Wisconsin and Florida — and thousands of people pitched in in response to emails just like this one, helping raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for both states' parties. And we're just getting started, Harris. We're holding People's Town Halls in every state in the country, giving an opportunity for Americans — regardless of how they voted — to speak out about what is happening right now in Washington and how it personally affects them. We're ratcheting up our fight against Trump in the courts to stop his hostile takeover of the FEC — America's federal elections watchdog — and we've sued Donald Trump and DOGE for their attacks on voting rights and attempts to access sensitive voter information. And of course, we're working to win more and more races ahead of the midterms next year. We've gained huge momentum already by winning in places like Wisconsin and Pennsylvania and now we've got our eyes set on the Virginia and New Jersey gubernatorial races in November.
