Many of you have asked how to help. If you're safe from the fires and are able to make a donation, consider supporting the California Community Foundation Wildfire Relief Fund.
The California Community Foundation's Wildfire Relief Fund directly supports those who have been impacted by wildfires—with both short term emergency assistance and long term support for community recovery. According to CCF, their grantmaking targets the most underserved, and often hard to reach communities who are going to most need the support after this fire.
I am so thankful for all the firefighters and first responders who are risking their own safety and working tirelessly to protect our community. For all of us who call Southern California home, this situation is devastating.
