Harris,

I want to share a few quick updates on what Democrats are doing (and no, this is not a fundraising request).

First, I wanted to make sure you saw this:

Headlines about DNC town halls

The DNC has partnered with our local and national colleagues across the Democratic Party to to host People's Town Halls in all 50 states. And here's the kicker: we're holding them in Republican districts.

Since Republicans are too spineless to face their own constituents after putting health care on the chopping block to fund tax breaks for billionaires, Democrats will do it for them.

In the last few days, thousands of voters have shown up at the town halls we organized in Iowa, Nebraska, and Florida — even though their own elected officials did not. What we heard from these constituents is that they're furious — and fed up — with what Republicans have done to betray their voters in only two months.

Democrats are showing up for voters nationwide. Follow this link to see if there is a town hall near you. I hope to see you out there.

Second, I want to share that the DNC is currently suing Donald Trump over his clearly unlawful attempt to take over the independent agency that ensures we have neutral elections in our country.

In the United States, we are guaranteed fair elections with impartial referees — the Federal Election Commission (FEC) helps make sure of that — as opposed to a system where Trump can hand down his preferred campaign rules from his perch in the White House.

His executive order to control the FEC is a grave threat to this guarantee.

For the future of our democracy, it's critical that we use every tool at our disposal — including aggressively confronting Trump's illegal actions in the courts — to defend voters' right to free and fair elections. I hope to have more updates on this to share soon.

Lastly, if you are looking for another way to get involved in the fight to protect our democracy, I highly encourage you to consider volunteering to support Democrats running in April 1 special elections in Wisconsin and Florida.

I've already traveled to Wisconsin to knock doors for our candidates there and I'll be volunteering however I can in the lead up to these races.

Right now, we need to elect as many Democrats as possible — that's how we can check Trump and Musk's power and get back to work at improving people's lives. The best way to start is by winning the races right in front of us. Please, get involved using this link.

The fight isn't coming — it's already here. Thank you for your support and for taking the time to read this message,

Ken
