Stand with Bernie Sanders: "No more arms for Israel"

Israel resumed its all-out war on Gaza on Monday night with a brutal bombing campaign that killed more than 400 people, including many women and children.

Harris,

Israel has resumed its all-out war on Gaza with a brutal bombing campaign that has already killed more than 430 people, including 180 children.1

The attack comes after Israel imposed a total blockade of all food, fuel, and medicine from entering Gaza, cutting off aid from a population already facing catastrophic levels of malnutrition.2

It's absolutely horrific, and none of it could be happening without the full-on support of Donald Trump and the U.S. government.

To fight back, Bernie Sanders, Pramila Jayapal, and Rashida Tlaib have introduced a series of formal resolutions to block a new $8.5 billion weapons shipment for Israel.3 We've mobilized tens of thousands of people to urge their members of Congress to join them, but now with the resumption of Israel's brutal war on Gaza, we must turn up the pressure.

Israel had already been conducting airstrikes throughout the two-month ceasefire, and the blockade on humanitarian aid imposed two weeks ago was condemned by human rights organizations as a violation of international law.4,5

But now Israel has resumed all-out war, "unleashing the gates of hell" on the people of Gaza, in the words of Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz.6

Leading Israeli government officials described the humanitarian blockade and bombardment as an implementation of Donald Trump's proposal to ethnically cleanse the Palestinian population of Gaza and turn it into a U.S.-occupied "Riviera of the Middle East."7

This is a moment when every American of good conscience must raise their voice and demand an end to U.S. support for this atrocity.

We're working to flood Capitol Hill with phone calls and petition signatures in support of the resolutions introduced by Bernie Sanders, Pramila Jayapal, and Rashida Tlaib to stop further arms sales for Israel's war on Gaza, but as a grassroots-funded group we rely on your donations for everything we do.

So please donate $20 or whatever you can afford to support our work, including blocking new U.S. weapons shipments for Israel's war on Gaza.

With gratitude,

The team at Demand Progress Action
